For the cake lovers in your life, this vintage silver-plated cake fork is hand-engraved with a name or message of your choice. A slice of something special for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, new babies, and friendships.
- Hand-engraved to order in my French cursive handwriting
- Vintage silver-plated with floral detailing (or plain-ish handle, your choice)
- Comes wrapped in a cotton pouch (add a gift box for an extra special touch)
- The cake forks measure approximately 13cm long
- Prefer initials or names for the engraving.

These pre-loved pieces are vintage, hand-picked by me, Lucie, at vintage markets across the UK. I select pieces with lovely floral details and try to choose ones with the least signs of wear (they are of course all food safe). They have been thoroughly polished to restore their original shine (hours of work removing tarnish from pieces that have been sitting in old boxes for decades!). They may also show slight signs of their previous life through scratches, which only adds to their charm.
Choice of Handle Design
You will not receive the exact same fork as the ones shown in the photos. My stock varies constantly, sourcing vintage cutlery is like a lottery, and I can't bulk order from a supplier! All forks automatically come with floral details on the handles, but you have the option to choose a "plain" handle (i.e. with fewer or no details, depending on available stock) from the drop-down menu. If you'd like to choose your specific piece, come and meet me at one of my upcoming live-engraving events, you'll even get to watch me engrave your piece in front of you!

Every letter is engraved by hand directly onto the surface of each piece in my signature French cursive handwriting, making each one truly unique. Please note that spacing and alignment are not exact, and this is not calligraphy, it is my own handwriting, so letters won't be perfectly uniform. That's what makes each piece special!

Personalised items are non-refundable. Please ensure you are happy with all the information you have provided before checking out, as I will use the details left in the form to make your order. I am not responsible for any errors made using the forms. Please double-check names and dates (especially wedding and anniversary dates), as engraving is final! Please use the gift finder page to view examples of previously engraved pieces for inspiration. Please note these are not exact representations of how your order will look, as each piece is engraved individually and will have its own unique character. Please note that scratches and signs of wear are an inherent part of vintage pieces and contribute to their charm and authenticity. I am unable to accept returns on the basis of natural wear or imperfections.

My processing times are an estimate and not a guarantee. I aim to engrave orders the same day I receive them (for orders placed before 7pm) and ship them the following day.

Vintage Pieces
All our pieces are vintage, sourced at antique markets across the UK. Silver-plated or mother of pearl, each one is unique and will show the marks of its previous life through scratches. If you're looking for a piece that looks brand new, then this is probably not for you. You're giving beautiful objects a second life and keeping them out of landfill!
Engraved by Hand
Everything is engraved free-hand by me, Lucie, in my own French cursive handwriting. Not calligraphy, just how I learned to write at school. Letters aren't perfect, and that's what makes them special. No machines here! If you're looking for something machine-like and uniform, this is not for you. Nothing is perfect, and that's the whole point.

Frequently Asked Questions
I'd like to choose my piece, is this possible?
All our spoons are vintage and sourced individually, so no two are exactly alike. During quieter periods, I may be able to send you photos of available pieces before you order, just get in touch! Please note this isn't always possible during busy periods such as Christmas.
Are these silver?
Our spoons are silver-plated, not solid silver. They are genuine vintage pieces with a silver coating over a base metal. Some of our pieces feature mother of pearl handles. All pieces are clearly described in the product listing.
Can you do drawings?
I engrave letters, words and simple designs such as love hearts. I'm not able to engrave complex illustrations. If you're unsure whether your request is possible, feel free to message me before ordering!
How do you ship them?
I engrave on the day I receive the order (I try!) if placed before 7pm. All orders are then dispatched from the UK via Royal Mail Tracked 48h.
