How to Personalise
Personalising your Maison Spoon piece is simple. You choose the words, and I engrave them by hand, in my own handwriting, directly onto your chosen piece.
Step 1
Choose your piece
Browse the shop and choose the piece you'd like to have engraved. While you can't choose your specific handle, on some pieces you may have the option to indicate a preference for ornate or floral details versus a plainer handle. I'll always do my best to match your preference.
Step 2
Enter your text
Enter your personalisation in the text field on the product page. This could be a name, a date, a short message, or something a little cheeky. I engrave words, accents, and love hearts. No other symbols or special characters, I'm afraid. If you're not sure whether your message will fit, get in touch before ordering and I'll let you know.
Step 3
Choose your gift wrapping
All orders come wrapped in a reusable cotton pouch at no extra cost. You can also choose to add a gift box to make it an extra special present.
Step 4
Add a note to your order
If you'd like to include a handwritten card with a personal message, you can add one at checkout. Please note that I don't include any invoice in the parcel.
Step 5
Age confirmation for knives
If your order includes a knife with a blade, you'll need to tick a box at checkout to confirm you are 18 or over. This is a legal requirement for the sale of bladed items.
Step 6
Add to basket and check out
Once everything looks good, add to basket and check out as normal. Before you place your order, please double-check your engraving text carefully (especially dates). Hand engraving is permanent and cannot be undone.
