What is Maison Spoon?
Maison Spoon turns vintage cutlery into personalised treasures and gifts. Each piece is hand-picked by me, Lucie, at antique markets across the UK. I look for cutlery with lovely floral details, pieces that aren't perfect or brand new. Their subtle marks are part of what makes them so special.
Everything is engraved by hand, to order, by me. This isn't calligraphy. It's my own handwriting, which makes every piece truly unique. You choose the words, whether that's a name, a date, or a message, and I bring them to life. So every gift is 100% personalised.
Personalised spoons are my signature, alongside butter and cheese knives, cake slices, and forks. Some spoons and forks also live a second life as rings and earrings, available exclusively at markets.
It started with swear words on spoons (still very popular), but now at least half of my orders are wedding gifts. Maison Spoon is often chosen for big celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, and all sorts of meaningful gifting moments. I also offer live engraving for weddings, press events, and brand activations.

Also known as Madame Spoon. I'm the face (and hands) behind Maison Spoon.
I'm French, originally from the countryside between Brittany and Normandy, and I've called London home for almost seven years now. My accent, however, remains very much French.
A few things you should know about me: antique markets are my happy place (and so are museums). I get around London on my motorbike, affectionately known as the Spoon Mobile. I take baguettes very seriously (it's cultural). I eat almost everything with a spoon, obviously. Fresh flowers are a weekly non-negotiable. I love supporting small, independent brands whenever I can. I like to call people Madame, the way British people might call you Love. And I am very easily distracted by dogs.
Before starting Maison Spoon, I trained as an engraver for a jewellery brand. That's where it all began.
