- Each pair is carefully cut, sanded, and shaped by hand from the prongs (also called tines) of vintage forks that were too damaged to be sold as tableware (dents, mis-engraving, or excessive scratches)
- Available in silver plate (flash silver plate) or 24ct gold plate (5 microns)
- Each shape is unique, with lots of different designs available. My stock varies constantly, so what you see at the market may differ from the pictures. The size is final and cannot be modified.

These rings are made from vintage cutlery, hand-picked by me, Lucie, at antique markets across the UK and Europe. I select pieces with lovely details and repurpose ones that were too damaged to be sold as tableware, giving them a new life as wearable jewellery.
Each ring is carefully cut, sanded, and shaped by hand. They have been thoroughly polished to restore their shine. They may show slight signs of their previous life through scratches or patina, which only adds to their charm and authenticity.
My stock varies constantly as sourcing vintage cutlery is like a lottery. Each shape is unique, with lots of different designs available. What you find at the market may differ from the pictures.

Please note that these pieces are not solid silver. They are made from vintage silver-plated cutlery, which has then been re-plated: rings with 24ct gold at 5 microns, and earrings with 18ct gold at 2.5 microns.
To preserve the plating, avoid wearing your piece during washing, cleaning, sports, or activities that cause sweating, as moisture and friction can wear down the plating over time. Tarnishing is normal for plated pieces and can be treated with standard jewellery cleaning products.
If the plating does wear off, which is a natural process for plated jewellery, I offer a re-plating service. Pricing varies depending on plating costs (currently around £30-40 per piece). Get in touch at lucie@maisonspoon.com to find out more.

Jewellery items are non-refundable. Each piece is handcrafted from vintage cutlery and is unique, so the exact shape and finish may vary from the pictures. Please note that scratches and signs of wear are an inherent part of vintage pieces and contribute to their charm and authenticity.
The size is final and cannot be modified after purchase. I am unable to accept returns or exchanges.

My processing times are an estimate and not a guarantee. I aim to engrave orders the same day I receive them (for orders placed before 7pm) and ship them the following day.
If you have an urgent request, please email me at lucie@maisonspoon.com or leave a note at checkout so I can prioritise your order.
Frequently Asked Questions
I'd like to choose my piece, is this possible?
All our spoons are vintage and sourced individually, so no two are exactly alike. During quieter periods, I may be able to send you photos of available pieces before you order, just get in touch! Please note this isn't always possible during busy periods such as Christmas.
Are these silver?
Our spoons are silver-plated, not solid silver. They are genuine vintage pieces with a silver coating over a base metal. Some of our pieces feature mother of pearl handles. All pieces are clearly described in the product listing.
Can you do drawings?
I engrave letters, words and simple designs such as love hearts. I'm not able to engrave complex illustrations. If you're unsure whether your request is possible, feel free to message me before ordering!
How do you ship them?
I engrave on the day I receive the order (I try!) if placed before 7pm. All orders are then dispatched from the UK via Royal Mail Tracked 48h.
